Aros Park dog walk on the Isle of Mull, Scotland
Description
Gorgeous walking in the woodland grounds of Aros House. The house is no longer, but the grounds are looked after by Forest Enterprises and paths and facilities are well tended. There's an artificial loch in the middle of the park, originally made to power a mill, and here and there remains of the house and outbuildings can be spotted.

Walk
You're spoiled for choice walkies here, with lots of paths to explore.
The circular path around the loch is about a mile, and is probably the most popular too.
There are many options for longer walks and clear paths to follow.
If the tide is very low, it's possible to go down a drover's track to a sandy crossing to Calve Island - but take care to check the tide as the crossing is only open for a short time and there is a real risk of getting stranded.
