Arcachon town short dog walk, France
PremiumDescription
If you have an interest in seeing a real Gingko plant - one of the natural ingredients used in many well-known health and beauty products - this slightly quirky little park near the centre of town is worth checking out.
Dogs on leads are welcome, and you'll find massive cedars and pines (with enormous cones) as well as a rose garden, seats to sit and take in the scents and a generally calm space to enjoy.
It's not worth making a special visit to the park for a dog walk, as the town is surrounded by amazing beaches and massive forests - but if you're in the area and have the dog in tow this is a tranquil spot that's definitely worth knowing about.
