A87 exit 24 Loire valley dog walk, France
PremiumDescription
This is a delightful dog walk alongside the River Loire and then a stroll through the atmospheric village of Rochefort.
If you're visiting after a lot of hot weather, the helpful review below suggests the water evaporates. Such a shame because it's a walk we really enjoyed and there was a lot of amphibian life.

Disappointing
The directions for getting to the village were very clear and we found the car park easily. We headed down the hill to the river but unfortunately probably due to the very dry summer the river had virtually dried up and many of the puddles that were left had bright green algae in them. We didn't risk letting our boy off lead as we were worried about him drinking the water.
