Description
Excellent motorway services, accessible from both sides of the road via a linking tunnel.
Further on from the services building and fuel station there's a completely separate area with a lake, and access to the canal towpath.
If you're a keen wild swimmer then join the dog for a plunge in the lake! An outdoor shower is thoughtfully provided next to the grassy beach.

How to get there
The Aire de Port Lauragais is between junctions 20 and 21 of the A61.
Leave the motorway as signed. Drive past the petrol station / services to a small crossroads. Go straight on and around the water's edge to the parking bays on the far side.
There's access from both directions with a tunnel.
Walk
Walks on the grass by the lake, or along the canal path for the more energetic.
