As well as a great place for a dog walk, this is a brilliant outing for kids of all ages with an interest in rocks and fossils. Look out for the sandstone cliffs - they've been dated way, way back to the Triassic era when all this was baking hot desert.   This is a very useful doggie pitstop off the A50 - and other major roads too around the Stoke road system.
