From the pub you can see the River Avon rushing past on the last leg of its journey to join the Severn in a headlong dash to the sea. It's really dramatic with water thundering over the weirs and a fast current. Happily there's no access to the water here for dogs! The pub is well-organised and efficient - and at the back of the pub there's a massive beer garden.
