Walk
You really are spoiled for choice here as The Slaughters really do showcase the best of Cotswold walks. For your first visit we suggest a short stroll around the village to admire the pretty houses and paw-cooling stream. That accomplished, the Wardens Way to Upper Slaughter will take around 20 minutes and is a popular path that's very clearly signed and well-trodden. Take the Wardens Way turn off Mill Lane just past the Old Mill museum and gift shop (and doggie ice cream!). The River Eye will be on your left all the way. When you reach the road at Upper Slaughter turn left and this will bring you to The Square and St Peter's church where you can feast your eyes on Cotswolds charm. Return on the Warden's Way again.
