Hidden gem.
Fabulous wooded dog walk just of the A35 near Dorchester. Easy to find and well worth a visit. Plenty of “sniffs” and space for your dog to run but make sure you have good recall! There is too much for a nose to investigate!
The cafe at the bottom of the wood is fabulous. Very welcoming, excellent food at reasonable prices. With good access for disabled clients although the woodland walk would not be possible.
Have visited twice now and will be back again. Thomas Hardy’s cottage is at the same place but we haven’t been there yet.
