A friendly and relaxed black and white timbered pub in the Test Valley near Stockbridge. Jem and I sat in the garden pondering the river, and wondering what this pub had 'seen' in the last few hundreds of years. And then completely forgot about history when the pie arrived. A thing of wonder, and very tasty indeed. Not for sharing!
