A20 exit 58 doggiestop in Cahors, France
PremiumDescription
An old town that's steeped in history, good food and quirky old buildings. It's also the regional capital city. Yet somehow it's stayed off the tourist routes, and so you'll be able to get a traditional long French lunch at 'local' prices. The red wine produced in the area is another unsung delight and again, you really can get a bargain.
Do not miss the Roman amphitheatre on display in the car park. Extraordinary as it may sound, when you get out of your vehicle and get used to the soft classical music playing in the background, look towards the lights in the corner and you'll find the amphitheatre!
