A1M Junction 38 dog walk near Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Description
A transformed colliery site that is great for dog walks. Already it's hard to imagine how this green space would have looked. A lot of hard work has gone into reclaiming the land for nature lovers and nearly all traces of industry are now vanished completely.

Walk
Easy to follow paths lead into the woodland from the car park. To find the woodland use the GPS co-ords or the postcode given in the address and note that this is for the woodlands, NOT for the garden centre.

Walk was good, good paths and not muddy. Nearby garden centre is not dog friendly but does look nice. See review above for the correct postcode.
DwD team - postcodes change over time, especially when new houses are built. If you can. use the GPS co-ords and not the postcode.

We eventually found the garden centre. Couldn’t find the walks! Maybe clearer directions would help?

Different postcode
dN6 7FF. Is another postcode for this site. May be better? Sorry still no toilets according to their website
This alternative postcode DN6 7FF is correct. It takes you down Longlands Lane. The entrance to the woodlands is behind a new group of houses still being built on the right. There are no facilities. Free parking.
UPDATE TO THS REVIEW, ALSO BY LINNYPINNY
The existing postcode takes you half way along a lane. Continue to the end and turn left. The car park is just on the left. No facilities and a more hilly walk. Less muddy just now!
