Plenty to entertain drivers, families and dogs here, with a dog-friendly castle where Mary Tudor went for glory, a choice of dog-friendly pubs and an historic town with brightly painted houses. Definitely worth a visit, and an excellently cheap stop if you're already English Heritage members.
