Fabulous heathland that's perfect for a winter dog walk, and will keep you and the dog relatively un-muddy. Between March and September dogs need to be on-lead to avoid disturbing ground-nesting birds - and given that snakes love it here too in summer why not explore somewhere else in the hotter months?
