A dog walk on the common near Stourport, Worcestershire
PremiumDescription
There's a mix of woodland and heath here, and totally amazing views over to Wales. If you get the right weather this is one to have a proper 'stand and stare' moment.
There are some information boards in the car park explaining why it's a Site of Scientific interest, and a useful diagram of the paths. You can download these onto your phone before setting off if you're keen on a longer walk.
For a short walk, there's the Heather Trail. Or just amble and enjoy the space.

Really quiet in the evenings but busier in the afternoons. Great for dogs because it has everythng - sand, woods and grassy areas. Lots of rabbits about & the lower area runs near to a main road which you may need to be aware of if your dog is likely to run off chasing bunnys!
