Details
Large car park. The village sits on the route of a long distance path called the 'Cross Britain Way' which sounds a bit energetic. We spent far too long wondering whether the path starts near here, or if the serious walkers we passed had actually walked all the way across Britain to get here. It turns out that the route goes from near here to Barmouth in Wales. Blimey - fancy leaving the mountains until the end! Annoyingly the section of the path here is all on the main road so dogs are out of luck.
