On a warm summer's day you can't beat a cool drink next to the gentle lapping of the River Avon. Our dog is water-mad and she loves a dip in the water here and we once tried to ferry her across to the path on the other side of the river. But no - there's no ferry and the dog walking field and path are well out of reach.
