Super dog friendly pub
Plenty of space to sit outside or inside and it seems that dogs are not just tolerated but are required! Pretty much every group in the pub had one or two furry friends of all shapes and sizes.
Food was excellent, staff really friendly and to cap it all the pub also brews its own real ales all of which are except and have dog themed names.
Food is served from midday til 9:00pm and we would heartily recommend a stop here on your way to or from the lakes.
Dog walking is available in a field nearby, although the gate doesn’t close so best for dogs with good recall.
