Attractive dog-friendly country pub all alone in pretty much the middle of nowhere. The village is a way down the lane. Inside it's traditional oak beams and roaring fires, and extremely welcoming and friendly. Children and dogs made at home, and worth knowing about as a good place to meet up with friends between Colchester and Sudbury.
