Dog walk and dog-friendly pub with a battlefield view, Warwickshire

Nice view, nice lunch
We struggled to find a pub open on Monday but this did the trick. Nice food & very friendly towards Sydney the dachshund. The walk is as described- through the staff car park. Wooded path and a steep field down - and up - made for a good stop with glorious view on a sunny November day

Lovely lunch
A lovely pub with excellent food & service. Sydney was made very welcome. The menu is short with a nice mix that suited everyone. Fish and chips particularly good.
