Heritage dog walk, Anglesey, Wales
A coastal path dog walk with fine views over towards a beach, and access to one side of the beach for swimming too.

This is a walk to love or hate.
Large dog-friendly sandy bay, almost deserted out of season.
Great combination here of sand, coastal vegetation and access to the enormous Forest as well - handy when it's raining.
Large (at low tide) uncrowded beach that's particularly popular with dog owners. No restrictions on canine access. Check the tide tables before you go, and be very careful where you park.
Small fishing village, with quite a collection of car parks and facilities and a dog-friendly pub with a great view over the water.
We thought that this would be a great escape from crowded beaches in high season. In the event, the beaches were deserted, and this enormous reservoir in the centre of the island equally so.
Nothing here, except a car park and the beach. Perfect. The photos here were taken on a baking hot Tuesday in summer and still the beach was completely deserted - wow!!
A hidden gem in the middle of Anglesey. There's a 4 mile footpath around the small reservoir which is surrounded by trees.
