M25 Junction 6 woodland dog walk, Surrey
Lovely woodland walkies
The drive in from Godstone is narrow and challenging with fast driving locals forcing you off the road. Opt to drive in from Woldringham in stead.
The walk itself is lovely! Plenty of signed routes through different areas of the park. Kept it interesting for both humans and dogs.
M3 Junction 12 dog-friendly pub with dog walk, Hampshire
Excellent spot!
Our dogs loved this DwD spot! Our walkies started right across the road from the pub. We crossed the grass and entered the woodland in the far corner. There are benches here and there so you can really take your time to roam around. Looks like it will be muddy in rainy weather so bring good shoes!
The only thing missing was a picknick table.
M25 Junction 8 dog walk and dog-friendly pub, Surrey
Brilliant dog walk
One of the best #DwD stops we’ve done so far.
Woodland and grassland as far as the eyes can see. Plenty of room to roam for both dogs and humans. Can get really busy so early mornings should be best for a visit.
Cuxton dog walk, Kent
Lovely wildflower walk
Beautiful trails through fields of wildflowers, with a view of the rolling hills in the distance. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Too bad about the littering
Lovely forrest walks from a spacious car park. But for the life of me I will never understand why people would leave their litter in a beautiful woodland like this. Such a shame of an otherwise lovely woodland walk. DwD: We completely agree kattemie
Forest dog walk and the Great Glen Way, Scotland

Perfect stop!
Stunning park with loads of open spaces and footpaths to roam for hours. Check out the pizzas at the pub!

Check the park across the street!
We never ended up going into the hotel but boy did we enjoy the park across the street!
It was the only available option for walks but it didn’t disappoint. Wide open grassland made for a great place to run and throw some frisbee around.

It did the trick
Our collies love the beach so it was nice to give them a little taste while in Folkestone. The path from the carpark is very narrow in summer and lined with nettle, so don’t wear shorts! My advice would be to walk from the carpark on the sidewalk towards the playground and take the path to the beach from there. The path is uneven and steap so tread carefully.
The beach is popular with the locals so our dogs had plenty of friends to play with. The beach is lined with rocks so it wasn’t the best for playing fetch but it did the trick!
