Constable country dog walks and refreshments, Essex
Lovely riverside walk
Another great DwD find! Such a lovely walk. There is a smaller carpark (Mill Pond) on the right ust before the Mill Lane carpark that directly connects with the public footpath. When following the river you get to a bridge over it that is now closed so to have a circular walk keep on going past the bridge then turn left at first junction. Total walk was about 50-60 mins. Lots of steers in the field who were very calm and didn't seem bothered by people or dogs but still best to have dogs on a lead if they are close to the path (it's a very big field so they may not be or of course they may not be there at all). Quite a few people walking on an autumn Saturday. Google maps says the bridge is temporarily closed so hopefully it will re-open soon though currently it looks very boarded up. (October 21)
Meadow and river path dog walk near Snape, Suffolk
Beautiful part of Suffolk
This is a really lovely walk. The postcode takes you to a private drive (not good) but the parking is just before this (if you are coming from the main road). The parking sign can't be seen from this direction but the forest/picnic sign can be. Wouldn't describe the car park as a meadow (-: It is a very peaceful place to walk (in October).
M5 Junction 13 dog-walk and village pub, Gloucestershire
Good walk
Enjoyed the walk and there are various options. There is a small public car park on Watery Lane (the lane mentioned). Parking around the pub seems quite tight!

Fab walk but ...
This is an absolutely fab place to walk and marvel at the vistas. Kites and hang gliders galore. The only 'but" is that between April and Auguat you are supposed to keep your dog on a short lead so they don't disturb nesting birds in the grasslands. I confess we didn't as our Border Terrier doesn't stray off the path away from us. But if you have a dog/s that love to gallop through the grass it would be a bit restrictive at those times of the year. Totally gorgeous place though so definitely worth a visit!
