Visitors to Stirling will relish the opportunity to combine a visit to the Wallace Monument with a hidden walk that most people miss.
Fabulous park land, which can be reached from the M9 Junction 5 (Northbound) or Junction 6 (Southbound). The circular lakeside walk is a delight, with dogs able to run freely.
This small settlement between Queensferry and Grangemouth has a lot going on. Three different dog-walks, the chance to visit a famous castle, and a dog-friendly pub.
I was expecting something quite grand here, fooled by the work 'palace' no doubt. In the event the park used to be farmland, so the terrain is quite unusual for a public park.
