About greenman2uk
Peanut is the latest of our rescue greyhounds. She came to us from Clarks Farm Greyhound Rescue after Cassie had crossed Rainbow Bridge at the age of fourteen and a half. Tolly, our male was a good companion to Peanut until we lost him aged twelve and a half. Peanut quickly learned the daily routine we try to give our dogs and settled very quickly. Since Tolly's death she has developed into even more of a character who enjoys life and lots of cuddles! More importantly she gets on well with our daughter's greyhound, so we have our own dog-sitting circle whenever it's needed. My wife and I are in our seventies and fairly fit but reluctantly we've decided not to have a second greyhound currently because of the problems of lifting them if they're ill or injured, especially if it's a large male. Love going on holidays with Peanut. We're very proud of her because she's well behaved at cafés, pubs and restaurants.
