Excellent dog friendly pub off the beaten track, but very near to the M6/M55 junction. Easy parking. Good food and drink. Next door to playing fields, so somewhere to have a run-about. Plenty of well signposted public footpaths if you fancy a walk. Interesting church across the road with a witches grave.

Beautiful whatever time of year, but spectacular in spring when the bluebells are in bloom. Lovely river if your dog likes a paddle. Walk can be extended to a full day if you want to walk as far as the A6. Call at Olde Nells for a bar snack? and then back along the same route following the River Brock. No dog poo bins, which means you will have to carry your little friends presents. Unfortunately, some dog owners think this is an excuse to leave their poo bags along the walk ways :(
