Great vets, super supportive
The ur dobermann ended up here at short notice under the heart vets for echo and holter and then for admission the following week under internal medicine for CT, bronchoscopy and other tests.
Having travelled a few hours it was great to be able to have a decent hot drink of choice from the posh machine in reception! I recommend the mocha...
Seating area was comfortable, clean and warm without feeling sterile.
Reception Staff couldn't be more helpful. At a time of huge stress we couldn't have felt more supported by all staff from reception to vets.
St Dogmaels dog-friendly pub and nearby beach, Wales
Super food, super service, super views...and dog friendly
This is one of our regular visits when family come to see us. We can do a long walk along the beach to tire everyone out especially the dogs, then sit down to a lovely meal and drinks, looking out over the water. Service is always brilliant and we are looked after so well. Food is fresh and varied and plenty of it. Dogs are welcome and we tuck ourselves in the corner so our large dog can stretch out while we eat. Parking can be a bit tricky, but we tend to do our family catch ups out of season, so the weather puts some off, but not us!
Cwtch Glanmordy dog friendly beach cafe near Aberporth Beach off A487, Wales
Best location, and great food to eat in or take away!
Our favourite drop off point when out in the area, on coastal path walks or just a weekend stroll.
Bowl of water for the dog, lots of choice on the menu, and the best views ever! You can also take food out onto the picnic area on the village green nearby.
Poppit dog-friendly beach near Cardigan, Wales
Open sandy beach as far as you can see
Lovely beach with lots of sand and the added sniffy dog bonus of dunes. Sadly there is also a lot of dog poo left behind in these out of sight areas, so watch where you walk.
Lots of dogs on the beach running free, some have no recall, so if your dog is in training or on a long line as a puppy this can be a bit of a trial, Even in Winter this appears to be the place to go with your dog.
Parking area can get busy very quickly, and you need to pay. Cafe on edge of beach also gets busy too.
Dyffryn Beach, Aberporth, Wales
Our fave local beach in the Winter, or Summer evenings
We love this beach. It is a firm favourite in the Winter months when you can sometimes be the only folk and furries on it! We prefer it less busy!
It never really gets packed in the Summer but there can be a lot of temptations for dogs to walk by and a lot of off lead dogs that can be difficult to avoid.
Dog poo bin is available at the top of the ramps off the beach.

Great meals, awesome location and dog friendly to boot!
A family favourite, walk along beach with dog and then relax and kick back to enjoy a fantastic meal with great views over the water.
Great service and attention to detail. Always made to feel welcome and that includes the dog!

Fab coffee and cake stop
Stopped in for a lovely cappuccino and piece of home made cake while doing a walk around the area with a friend. Woodstove was lit and super cosy sitting inside bar area with our dog. The decaff coffee was delicious and the cake helped refuel the rest of the uphill home!
