Tilted Wig dog-friendly pub in Warwick, Warwickshire
Good pub, but limited dog space
I took Bruce to the Tilted Wig recently to get some food on a mid-week evening. It was fairly busy, but there were plenty of tables free.
Unfortunately, I was told that they only allow dogs to the right of the bar, which is a small alcove with 5 or 6 tables. On this occasion, the only available table was right next to the blazing fire, and I was already feeling rather hot after a long walk.
On this occasion I decided to sit outside and just have a drink (which was great) and went elsewhere for food.

The best pub and walk combination in Southampton
This is Bruce's favourite place to go for a nice off-lead walk - it's a huge expanse of land, allowing for lots of exploring. Depending on the time of day it's heaving with other dogs (mostly off lead), which Bruce loves - but if your dog is nervous around others, you may want to avoid.
The pub is very busy during the summer, usually with at least 4-5 other dogs inside and out. The food is good, especially the lunchtime sandwiches. There's also dog bowls available for water.
As the listing says, dogs are only allowed in the bar and outside - not in the restaurant. Worth taking into account if you're thinking of visiting in an evening, as when it's busy, the bar can fill up quite quickly. However, we've never struggled to get a table.
