Three dogs all rescues. Willow is a cross Rhodesian Ridgeback/Chow Chow/Doberman from Romania, Kyree is a Dobermann from Spain. Both Girls and Charlie is our little terror, mini Dachshund from UK. WE love to walk with them or holiday in our caravan with them around the country, so dog friendly pubs, cafes and walks are very important to us.
Lovely well defined paths round this well maintained wood, with lots of off piste patch you can also follow, plenty for the dogs to explore. Beautiful when the bluebells are out, a carpet of blue on the wood floor, the snow drops are also as impressive. Parking for about 12 cars at the entrance. My dogs know we are going there from a mile away and bark till we get there with excitement.
Excellent parking, toilets and cafe at entrance, couple of well marked routes but free map on information board in car park means you can go off piste and explore the forests many tracks. Our dogs loved it.

Great Location
Good location and large beer garden. With Covid they have a App that allows you to order food and drink from the garden so you don't have to leave your dog. Plenty of water bowls scattered around the tables too.
Lots of dogs enjoying the rest on their walks on our two visits.
