Good off lead run

We were here in a freezing day in November - had a good run but some parts were very wet albeit frozen. We had walking boots so fine but may be tricky if you’re unprepared.

OK for breakfast - toilets outside cafe terrible!

Stopped here for good breakfast baps. Husband made the mistake of using the toilets outside the cafe - he tells me they were terrible. Toilets inside cafe fine.

Good walks - and cafe - close to M25

We made this our last stop before joining the M25. Lots of space for walks. Toilets and cafe fine.

Drinks and a field to play ball

We parked in the Moat House hotel but didn’t walk along the canal. Instead, we went into a fenced off field just off the car park. Plenty of space to run around.

The hotel has a bar (facing the hotel, don’t go into reception but use the entrance further along, to the right) which is dog friendly and is open from 9am. There is even a jar of doggy treats on the bar.

Plenty of outdoor seating too, if the weather is good enough.

Good walk, so easy to get to

The services are standard - usual shops and cafes. The walk is so close and a good opportunity to run off lead and even chase a rabbit! A good chance for Harlow to let of steam and toilets and coffee for us.
