M20 Junction 11 country park dog walk, Kent
Lovely Park
We stopped here on our way to the Tunnel and it was very convenient. Lots of opportunity for some off lead excercise in beautiful surroundings - wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely visit again.
A16 Junction 40 Cap Blanc Nez dog walk near Calais, France
Very Convenient For The Tunnel
Very easy to find and very convenient for some excersise before or after crossing The Channel.
Once we reached the obelisk we wanted to turn left but found someone had put a gate across the pathway and the righthand path looked as if it had some steep drops so we walked back towards the car park and then took a path off to the left and this was a great place for some off lead excercise. We just turned back and retraced our steps when we were ready to leave.
DwD Team - many thanks for this useful update. We're not sure whether there's an erosion problem and hence the gate. It's the GR120 path so there must be a reason!
M5 Junction 4 Waseley Hills dog walks and cafe, Worcestershire
Lovely Views and Walk
Plenty of space for off lead exercise but just be aware that at certain times of the year there are cattle grazing in some areas. Lovely views of the surrounding area and a nice cafe for refreshments after your walk. When Lickey hills is busy (weekends in summer) Waseley is usually quieter.
M5 Junction 4 dog walk from The Hobbit, Worcestershire
A Great Place For Dog Walking.
A large area, mainly wooded and not only are there the marked walks but plenty of scope to make your own trail. Lovely views of the surrounding area. My dog loves it here especially as there are lots of squirrels! Just be aware that it can be very muddy even after a dry spell but there is a tap near to the Visitors Centre for dog washing.
Cofton Park local dog walk, West Midlands
Great For Off Lead Walks
I use this park regularly to walk my dog especially when the nearby Lickey Hills are very muddy. There is plenty of room for off lead exercise with lots of open space as well as some wooded areas.
There is a children's play area and a few picnic benches but unfortunately no cafe or refreshment kiosk.
The park is used for events some weekends so worth checking before your visit.
M1 - Tibshelf Services dog walk, Nottinghamshire
A n Unexpected Find
Without joining Driving With Dogs we would never have found this walk despite having stopped at Tibshelf many times. The directions are excellent and there is plenty of opportunity to give your dog a good run off lead. Our Cockapoo loved it!

Disappointing
The directions for getting to the village were very clear and we found the car park easily. We headed down the hill to the river but unfortunately probably due to the very dry summer the river had virtually dried up and many of the puddles that were left had bright green algae in them. We didn't risk letting our boy off lead as we were worried about him drinking the water.
