There's a choice of two water walks in this sleepy village, both quiet and tranquil. There are a couple of small shops in the village for picnic supplies, and the Bell is dog-friendly in the bar.
Wonderful spot for dogs, families, and anyone with a yearning for sea air and impeccably cooked sea food (other options available).

Length of walk: 40 minutes for the Purple trail. This ancient forest is managed by the National Trust, and is famous for its butterflies in July and August.
