Normans Bay beach and dog walk, East Sussex
Not worth it.
Not for me. Too many signs saying “private” and “dogs on leads”, very limited parking. If you are in the area, I’d suggest a short distance up the coast to Pevensey Bay.
Teals - farm shop with cafe and dog jog, Somerset

Forgot to mention in my last review that they have Ev charging points. Provided by GridServe, so no App required, just plug in (You’ll need your own Type2 cable) and tap your payment card to start and stop charging.

Oh my!
Not sure I want to leave a review for Teals. I’m worried that if more people know about it we might struggle to get in!
Don’t be put off if you are heading West, you come off the A303, go over the road and into Teals.
The dog jog area was brilliant. Ours played in there was several other dogs off the lead before we dragged her off so we could eat and then went back in again afterwards. Tired herself out each time.
The shop is a smaller version of the Cotswold farm shop, or at least it’s trying to be. The place is clean and the food tasty, they even have some fancy dog treats. There is an outside eating area if you want to eat with your dog. Although, they would probably be happier if you just left them to play in the dog jog area.
M3 Junction 3 dog walk and refreshments, Surrey
Would use this every day if it was closer
Loads of dogs wandering around (on and off leads), so for our schnauzer it was like a normal dog walk. NB There is an area that is a mandatory lead area due to ground nesting birds (seasonal). Will use this stop again.
M1 Junction 10 dog walk and cafe near Luton, Bedfordshire
Check Sites events beforehand
Stopped off here on May bank holiday. Unfortunately, the site had been used at the weekend for a RadioOne roadshow. So lots of trucks removing stuff from the site and parking very restricted.
As previously reviewer mentioned, Cafe & toilets are not dog friendly, so unless you want to leave yours in the car while you pop in, best avoid. As there were two of us, it wasn’t a problem and there is plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs. We stopped here again on the way back home a few days later. Still lots of restricted access. NB there is no fuel stop between this site and the M1.

Plenty of space for the dog
We initially made the mistake to going to Norman’s Bay, this is way better for both you and the dog(s). All the facilities you need, plus a reasonable selection of shops running parallel.
The beach stretches all the way to Eastbourne in the West and back to Normans Bay in the East, but it is shingle all the way (except for a bit of sand at low tide), so it’s hard work.
