A good starting point for all sorts of different kinds of dog walk - including one with beaches, another through the enormous woodlands here, and yet another goes up an iconic hill.

Great National Trust park with miles of walking. Lack of dog poo bins is a slight downside. Variety of areas: Lake side (water front); park; hills. Nice view of the castle.

Great place to take a driving break and enjoy a cultural experience with the dog at the same time.
