About Mendipwalker
My Goldie partner made 14.5 years old, before we had to part. Miss her terribly, just not yet ready to take on a new girl.

Porthkidney dog walk, Cornwall
Dog friendly all year around, clean clear water- swim even at low tide, brilliant beach. Be a bit careful about current flowing in harbour entrance. You have to walk c1/2mile to the beach, no disabled access!
Brean and Berrow sands, dog-friendly beach, Somerset
Our fave local beach, miles of dog-friendly sand. Only dog restrictions are in Burnham (basically banned for length of seawall). Seems thug-free, lots of friends to make :-) Just remember to check tide times if your dog wants to swim & do not try to cross mud to the water (people have died trying)

Luton Park
We visited last May, very handy place to walk whilst waiting for an Arrival at the airport. Only a very short drive along the dual carriageway to the airport. Park has a huge drawback though, NO DOGS at the facilities, DWD Team - that could be awkward and we're looking for an alternative. It's never a good idea to leave your dog tied up outside.
