Forest dog walk near Bowes, County Durham
A satisfying dog walk that's free from sheep and stiles. A definite advantage when the surrounding fells are home to thousands of sheep. So dogs can happily run off-lead and it's a safe space.

This is a great walk for blowing the travel cobwebs away. There are two colour coded trails running through the forest, and most dogs will be very safe off-lead here.
Popular woodland country park, very clean and good for dogs, families and has accessible pathways. Very calm once you're away from the car park.
This is a 4 mile circular walk I done for my blog, its also really good for geocachers.
Great chance to take the dog for walkies on one of the nation's best loved trails, and enjoy the views, fresh air and heritage.
This is a dog walk that does exactly what it says on the tin: one path that winds through an avenue of rhododendron bushes, there and back. And the dog-friendly pub is a treat.
