A96 dog-friendly beach in Nairn, Scotland
Superb beach, easy to walk along. Vast expanse of sand when tide is out but still plenty when tide is in. Water very clean.
Reelig Glen dog walk near Inverness, Scotland
Lovely area, beautiful trees, nice walk for dogs and people. It has been improved a lot over the years but not an easy walk for anyone unsteady ontheir feet or not fully mobile. Super river running along the path - but always afraid one of my dogs will fall in!
Dog walk near Kinlochewe, Scotland
Loch Maree is a lovely location, good picnic area, beautiful clear water and walks from the car park. But watch out for the midges!!! They can be a real problem during the summer months but the answer is to apply Avon's Skin So Soft. The dogs get bothered by midges too so treat them as well. But this is one of our favourite locations for stopping with the dogs.
Tandle Hill dog walks, Lancashire
Tandle Hills is a great place to take your dog for off-lead walks. No traffic, no roads, lots of walks through the woodlands or in the grassy areas. Play area for the children, lots of birds and different types of trees. Wonderful views from the monument, you can see all around to Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire. Well worth a short drive off the A627(M).

Brilliant place, the forests are vast, as are the beaches so there is plenty of room for everyone. There are fixed barbecues in the picnic area so you can have a day out and take a barbie. Play area for the children. And so very many places for the dogs to run. Or lie down in the big pools of water as some dogs seem to like to do!
