An easy and relaxing dog walk through fields alongside the River Cam. I read somewhere that war poet Rupert Brooke and Virginia Woolf used to skinny dip in the river by moonlight.
Nature reserve with 170 acres of grasslands, meadows, lakes, and woods. Dogs are allowed off lead however, certain parts of the nature reserve require dogs to be kept on a lead.
We love stopping at this dog-friendly pub near Colsterworth as a respite from the A1. The farm shop is great for stocking up on self-catering essentials too.
This is such a relaxing and gentle place to take a break from the A1M, and dogs will love the parkland here. It's a great place for a dog walk.
