Nice circular walk through forest

The path takes a figure of eight route so you don’t repeat any part. The walk is scenic and the paths well trodden. It’s also a stones throw from the lovely town of Dornoch with some stunning beach walks.

Lovely woodland walk

Perfect if you want a short walk, or you want to venture further, after the first gate, our dogs were off lead the whole time. The path rises up into the wood and you get some lovely views of the area.

Lots of open space

Good spot to stop, large open area and lake, plus smaller wooded walks along paths. The park is mainly fenced/walled which feels

safe for the dogs to roam.

You can hear the A1 quite loudly though, if the noise of traffic bothers you.
