Super welcoming
Stayed here with my young spaniel. Really welcoming and considerate staff and owner. Some nice walks in village - try heading out along riverside from the church. Bring wellies.
Pup appreciated extra sausages at breakfast.

Staff just love dogs
I stayed here with my pup in 2020. Really nice room and staff wonderfully dog friendly. I swear there was an extra sausage at breakfast for the dog.
I imagined staff recruitment interviews starting with ‘and how many dogs do you have’.

Great stop off
Just a couple of miles off junction 28 of M6, this is a superb find. Grassy (muddy - I’ve a spaniel) and wooded walks. Plenty of space to run around and a cafe/visitor centre/toilets.
£1.50 for 2 hours parking in 2022
