A39/7-8 Jura Services and dog walk, France
Large service station area (accessible from both directions on the motorway) with nature area at the far end for walking the dog. If only all service stations had one!
A31 exit 6 dog walk near Auberive, France
Very quiet walk in the woods, easily accessible from the motorway. It wasn't entirely clear to us where to park, so we parked in what might have been a lay-by 30m or so down the forest road (after driving some way down the road to confirm there was no more obvious place to park).
A26 exit 8 dog walk in Bourlon, France
Excellent walk very easily found from the motorway.
This can be turned into a circular walk by following the original directions, turning right into the clearing and then walking 150m up the hill and turning right on the first of two tracks that join the clearing here. This takes you through the woods and eventually joins a rutted wide track where if you turn right again it takes you back to the French Resistance memorial.
We also walked a little bit along the path to the left at the end of the original directions: it eventually opens out into a long quiet lane through fields that seems to go on for a long way - handy for tiring out high energy dogs.

We found both St Quentin and this park to be nicer than this review might suggest. Although the park is not fenced in, it is big enough that a well behaved dog can easily be let off lead once you are in the middle of it. There were several local dogs who were off lead when we visited. There are several pleasant restaurants / bars around to main town square and we had a very pleasant, relaxed evening here to start our holiday.
