Beautiful village and muddy,lovely walk

Access to the river is by the church. Lovely walk finished with lunch at the ship inn. In the village there’s also a Roman town, but you do need to book in advance

Great dog walk and breakfast stop

Plenty of space for the dogs to have good run around after 2 hours in the car.

Cafe opened at 8am so prefect for our breakfast stop on the way to Northumberland
