Funky cafe in centre of Kendal. Dog friendly. Food is great and coffee good too. Dog treats in the 'doggy buffet'. In the centre of Kendal. Nice to go in when walking round the town.

The Fieldhead Hotel - dog-friendly, Leicestershire
Decent pub, less than 5 minutes walk from the M1 junction 22. The manager loves dogs, and keeps water, treats and blankets on the bar. The food's not bad - nothing fancy, standard pub grub.
