Excellent dog walking!

This is a regular walk for us and our two Labradors as it is local.

During the week it’s pretty quiet but can get busy on a weekend, not normally an issue but there’s not loads of parking available.

Popular with dog walkers, not many other walkers or cyclists there normally.

Plenty of routes you can take around the woods whether you’re wanting a longer or shorter walk. Couple of little clearings we play fetch with a ball in.

Sometimes (rarely to be honest) sections are closed off for filming.

Some parts can be a bit wet after rain.

A nice, quiet walk

Very quiet place to walk your dog, we were staying nearby for the weekend so came her two days in a row. The dogs loved it here, lots of exploring for them to do.

It was a little tricky to find as the sign you can see from the road is different to the sign in the pictures on here.

On our first walk here we didn’t see another soul in the 2 hours we walked for. There is a road that runs through the forest or there are a few paths that take you through the forest if you fancy something a little more challenging.

Great scenery and views, a bit boggy and muddy in places

There are surrounding fields that had sheep and lambs in during our visits to the area but our dogs were fine with this and weren’t interested in them at all
