M5 Junctions 6 and 7 dog walk and cafe near Worcester, Worcestershire
Excellent as well as interesting
There is the choice of a woodland or meadow walk. A lovely café with plenty of outdoor space to eat with the dog, including some under cover.
An outside tap is provided for dog bowl refills / rinsing off muddy paws.
Highly recommend
Pride and Prejudice dog walk, Cheshire
Lovely Parkland
Plenty of grounds to wander in - some open fields, some woodland.
My dog could not resist a swim in the pond.
The café is excellent. Seats outside for dog owners.
The gardens are stunning. There is a play area for kids.
Torrs Riverside Park dog walk, Derbyshire
Excellent and interesting
Lots of dog off-lead time. Good picnic area. New Mills Town has excellent facilities - coffee, takeaways, Sainsburys. Very pretty walk even during dull weather.
Interesting industrial town history to learn about.
The Torrs Riverside Park is worth a visit.
New Mills Mousley Bottom dog walk (via Millenium Walkway), Derbyshire
Easy Strole
Millennium Bridge is narrow which is a problem during Covid 2-metre rule . Beautiful river views. Excellent picnic area. Plenty of off-lead opportunity.
New Mills dog walk in the High Peak, Derbyshire
Flat, Easy.
Torr Top Car Park, New Mills and Station Road Car Park, Hayfield both give wheelchair access to Sett Valley Trail. From New Mills there are up hill stretches but nothing extreme. A section approaching High Hill Road has an ugly litter problem. Trail scenery improves immensely after that.
Remember to close gates behind you as these prevent children and pets rushing out into the road.
Gate at Station Road, Birch Vale has a good café on the left (coming from New Mills). Sett Valley Café (doing takeaway during Covid restrictions). No bins so please take litter home.
New Mills Mousley Bottom dog walk (via Millenium Walkway), Derbyshire
Easy Stroll
Excellent directions. Plenty of off lead time. Millennium Bridge is narrow which can be a problem during Covid19 2-metre passing rules.
I enjoyed this walk.
Easy Stole and Pee Stop
Large outside lawn picnic area makes it idea if travelling with pets/children as this is fenced in. There is also a hedged green space behind this for a quick dog shuffle. In addition, if you walk to the end of the service road and take a left, there is a gate with a SEDGEMOOR sign on it. This offers a quick five minute circuit if you don't have time for a longer walk but your dog needs more than a squat on grass.
Only wish as much thought and consideration had gone into the services food choices for humans - sandwiches, pie or McDonalds!
