Polperro is a pretty little town with a big carpark at the top. The carpark is 750m walk from the harbour. The walk takes you through the town which is not car friendly, but very dog friendly .
Enjoy the buzz and bustle of Mevagissey and then take the dog and escape to a secret beach. It's a short walk away and that puts most people off.

This walk is 0.9 mile, mainly flat terrain. The Royal Inn has plenty of outside eating benches with gazebo covering. Currently open for business from noon each day.
Predominately a flat, wide trail beside the river. Suitable for pushchairs and mobility scooters etc. if keep to the Pentewan Valley Trail route.
17th century pub, steeped in history and perfectly placed for either the beach or a strenuous uphill yomp. The location is wonderful, and fabulous at any time of the year.
A set of spooky stone circles and atmospheric moorland makes this a fine place for a walk with the dog at any time of the year.
