A Canal and River Trust dog walk along the lovely Kennet and Avon canal.
The dog walk here goes to the brilliantly named Bones Wood. The dog-friendly pub is a classic thatched country pub with a large garden in a rural village just a few miles from Henley on Thames.
This is the pub immortalised in 'Three Men in a Boat', and every well-read dog will want to pay respects to one of the famous fox terrier Montmorency's haunts. It's a great pub and well worth a visit.
Magical place to take a break, un-wind and enjoy a stroll by the river with the dog.
Wonderful woodland and meadow walks.
The pub is the highlight here. It is a fine thatched Berkshire hostelry and really popular. It is not really near a good walk unless you are prepared to do a fair amount of road walking to get there.
This is a really atmospheric and beautifully shady space for a dog walk. Several of the oak trees are named, and have boards identifying them - such as the 'King' oak.
Lovely space to let the dog go mad for a bit.
Really close to the A4 and a pleasant spot for a dog walk and dog-friendly refreshments.
Fabulous stroll over common land for the dog, and a pub that has been here since before the English Civil War.
A fantastic pub with a great reputation for its food and really convenient for a lovely woodland dog walk.
