A chance for a ramble with the dog over some of the outstanding Wolds paths on lush, velvety grass. We did this walk on a baking hot morning and the pup found herself a cool bath at the end!
This is a fabulous stop for keen gardeners and the dog. Definitely worth a long visit to see the gardens and give yourself time to enjoy the experience. The nearby farm shop has quality produce.
Once you've reached the car park on the narrow winding lane, the woodland seems to appear from nowhere. It's a good sized wood and the paths are in very good condition.
A very pretty village with an enormous village green and a babbling beck running through the middle.
A traditional Yorkshire dining pub, so make sure you're hungry before ordering! It's within easy reach of York and dogs will love the walkies here.
