Country dining in a popular pub right opposite the village church. Parts of the pub look like an old barn (in a good rustic way) and the garden seems to have once been an orchard.
What a pretty place. The village is really pretty and the walk is a doggy delight. There is so much to enjoy and the pub offers a really warm welcome to people and dogs.
Community owned, dog-friendly pub with unbelievable food. Worth driving out of your way for - and an easy-going stile-free walkies too.
Apart from a dog walk and a lovely pub, be prepared for a full on cute attack here. Views, walkies, overall loveliness - it's all here. Easy for an A350 doggiestop and not bad for the A303 as well.
A 13th century village that has starred in many a film, and is definitely worth making a short stop for on your journey. Or even as a day trip if you're based nearby.
Easy to spot from the road, dogs and drivers will find refreshment here. It's a welcoming inn with a comfortable carpetted interior.
If you have never been to Lacock before, you may be surprised by how much you recognise. It has been the location for a number of TV series including Pride and Prejudice, Cranford and Downton Abbey.
Easy to spot dog-friendly coaching inn on the A350 near Warminster. It's a comfortable and welcoming establishment that's good for a meet up with friends, family as well as a driving break.
Pleasant countryside pub with B&B and dog walk just off the A350 on the way to Shaftesbury.
We love this combo of dog-friendly pub and the chance to head up to a really atmospheric ancient hill fort with the dog.
A happy rural pub with camping in summer, and close to the A350.
