Lovely old pub in an historic village, Kent
Very dog friendly, food all day. There is a wall map suggesting walks nearby. Also close to historic Ightham Mote, a beautiful National Trust property.

Dogs are allowed throughout the pub and dining areas, with huge dog biscuits handed out on arrival. In the warmer months there are several outdoor areas to enjoy, with plenty of water bowls available.
Recommended by Carole and Jack who say 'A friend organises an annual dog walkers' Christmas brunch here and on our lunchtime visit, wet and bedraggled, we all received a warm welcome.
Welcoming Kentish dog-friendly country pub that's close to the M25 and the M20. They boast a large garden with traditional games, and also a resident ghost.
A 16th century dog friendly freehouse with a roaring log fire in winter, and a relaxed 'smart rustic' atmosphere.
Oh my oh my - this is the cutest of villages, and the number of footpaths criss-crossing to get here shows that pilgrims and travellers have been heading this way for centuries.
Totally brilliant old-school pub where the owner and customers are fabulously dog-friendly and have a fantastic track record of raising funds for the Canine Partners charity.
Popular and dog-friendly pub that's as close to a modern-style coaching inn as you can get. Open long hours and we watched in astonishment as people and dogs just pawed in before 11 in the morning!
Dog-friendly dining pub where walkers, cyclists and well-scubbed diners mingle happily together in a convivial atmosphere.
The pub overlooks a pocket-sized village green and at first glance looks just like a house from an Agatha Christie story.
