Popular recreation facility and it gets very busy here at weekends. During the week is a much more relaxing time to enjoy the space. Less than 3 miles from the A3 Burpham roundabout.
Dogs are allowed throughout the pub and dining areas, with huge dog biscuits handed out on arrival. In the warmer months there are several outdoor areas to enjoy, with plenty of water bowls available.

Dog-friendly dining pub where walkers, cyclists and well-scubbed diners mingle happily together in a convivial atmosphere.
Doggielicious woodland walkies, pawfect for a driving break, and if you live near here it must be a suburb of canine heaven.
Another part of the Hurt woodlands where dogs can enjoy a very superior sniff and scamper.
A very pleasant woodland dog walk in quiet glades and leafy shelter. Lovely for dogs, and drivers too.
